Allpress Espresso is located near Shoreditch High Street Station, on the quiet, but popular Redchurch Street. It is a great place to grab a coffee when passing through, or sit down for a relaxing break.
With its big windows, Allpress is the prefect cafe for enjoying the refreshing sun on a spring morning. The windows allow plenty of light to spill in and to warm the cafe, making it feel very fresh. The trendy locals can often be found relaxing over a coffee, reading the morning paper, or having a social catch up. As you enter you can see the roasting machine off to the right. Allpress have roasteries in Australia, New Zealand, and fortunately for me, London.
Allpress Espresso doesn’t have an extensive brunch menu. It mainly consists of sandwiches, pastries and baked goods, and a Mixed Breakfast Plate. You can order this with either smoked salmon or ham. It comes with a generous portion of toast, and a healthy mix of avocado, parmesan cheese, tomato, and a hard boiled egg. The food is very fresh, and is a nice light start to the day.
If you’re more in the mood for a takeaway coffee, Allpress have you covered. You don’t even need to enter the shop. There is a small roller door to the side, where they serve takeaway coffee and pastries for those on the go.
With the large windows, you can enjoy a relaxed morning or afternoon and still feel like you’re making the most of the weather. If you’d rather stay outdoors, you can enjoy the bench seating out the front, or get a takeaway coffee without even stepping indoors.
