There is a small shop on Columbia Road that is no wider than a small window.
With the long line queueing out front, I was intrigued, and double backed to get myself a coffee.
I’d already had two at this point, but I’d been walking around all day. Maybe I could justify a third for the day. While waiting in the queue, I had a pleasant chat with one of the local shop-keeps, who assured me the coffee was good. Having said that, it wasn’t the fastest service, but surely a line this long is a good sign. I probably could have done without the third coffee, but I was committed now. Besides, it isn’t the worst place to be, with the flower market happening on the street.
Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the shop, it only has ‘Coffee’ written on the sign above the window. But I’m sure I will stumble across it again at some point, with the long line out front.
